3 Americans killed in a suicide attack in the Lower Dir district in Pakistan were neither journalists nor employees of the United States Agency for International Development, as reported by the media.
The three victims, who were killed when a suspected suicide bomber targeted a security convoy in the restive area, were US soldiers. This sheds the light on secret efforts of U
S to train paramilitary forces to fight Taliban and Al Qaeda
Rediff reported after contacting a security official,
"There were three US soldiers among the victims. They were in the area to train the (paramilitary) Frontier Corps."
It is also suspected that soldiers killed belong to Black Water.
