Defence of the Ancients also known as DotA has been a tremendous hit in the current world of games. It was based on free world editor in Warcraft III game that allows players to create custom scenarios or maps for players.

Defense of the Ancient game popularity is increasing over the time and it has been included in international game events and challenges. DotA is likely to be the most popular and discussed  game in the world. It has inspired few new game titles like Demigod. 

Mandela Celebrates 20 years of Freedom

Nelson Mandela celebrated the 20th year of his release from prison along with his family and friends.

Mandela was released Feb. 11, 1990, after 27 years in prison.

After releasing from prison, he served as the chief executive of the country for just one term and then stepped down volutarily to give chance to young leadership.

South Africa is blessed to have such charismatic leader.

Obesity and Willness to loose Weight

Obesity specifically refers to an excess amount in body fat to the extent that it may have an adverse or dangerous effect on your health.

According to World Health Organization , now adays more people died from obesity.The statistics shows that there are approximately 1.6 overweight people in the world and annuually out which 2.5 million deaths are attributable to these conditions.

The global diet poll conducted by the Reader's Digest Commision represented behaviours of a variety of people in different countries regarding to weight.

The surveyed conducted in the following countries shows that the majority of the people tried to lose their weight once in their live.

JFK runway closing for 4 months

JFK(John F Kennedy) runway is going to be closed for four months, the main runway. Millions of travellers would be affected by this closure and i might be affected too.

JFK’s bay runway , 14572 feet, is one of the longest runway in the world and it has been closed for renovation to accomodate bigger planes and last long.

Ghost Blogging….Part 1

Today, i wan to write on ghost bloggers and the popualarity they are gaining in the corporate world. I read about  ghost bloggers in Entrepreneur magazine where there was a special feature on a ghost blogger Shofield who is a business world ghost writer. She is the online voice of famous speakers and money makers like Robert Kiyosaki(), Nick canon and chris.

According to the report in the magazine, 20% of US businesses have some kind of blog and one in four are outsourced too for writing. Now, this is a very good news for online professional bloggers because they can see a bright future in corporate world through their blogging skill.

Elance, which is a website for business free lancers has reported exponential increase in demand for ghost writers. Its reported that popularity has jumped from 74th position to 25th positin which is simply awesome.

Snow Snow Snow till Spring

Its already enough snow in this winter but i think there are still one or two snowfalls in weather repository. The snow in Morris country,NJ, has 28 inches snow in February but its still not a record as the accumulated snow for the winter season reaches 45 incehs which is still below 65 inches snow in 1996.

Even if this has not broken records, it has seriously hurt restaurants, retailers and all sorts of businesses in this great recession. Only item that is selling like hot dogs is salt and shovels nothing else. Recent snow was around 15 inches in northern jersey, close to 21 inches in southern jersey and nearly 31 inches in upstate,NY.

Everybody including me is praying hard for the spring, just want to get over this snowy, rough winter.

Burton new direction “Alice in Wonderland”

Tim Burton has entered into the “wonderland” with his favourite actor cum friend Johy depp as mad hatter along with his gril friend Helena Bonham who is playing the role of Red Queen.

The theme of the movie is quite interesting to start with. Alice returns to the wonderland without childhood adventure in the same fantasy world. The wonderland is no more a calm and sweet place like her last visit. It has turned into a battle field between wicked Red queen and her noble sister White queen.

I am planning to watch this movie not just because of the childhood fantasy screened but also due to one of my favourite actor Johny Depp.

I hope the movie stays to my childhood and young imaginations :)
